Just had a great short break in this cottage, it’s ideally situated in Appledore and has the bonus of its own parking. The cottage is very spacious and is fitted out to a high standard with everything you need. There’s a lovely little courtyard and garden that I would imagine in the summer months would be a great place to unwind after a days exploring around the North Devon coast.

This is an absolute gem of a holiday home.
Very dog friendly. With bowls, mats and even a dog bed.
Beautifully clean.
The kitchen is to die for. Modern and extremely well equipped.
Both bedrooms have en-suites, excellently kitted out.
Beds are king size (or maybe even super king). Very comfortable.
The house is about a 5 minute stroll from Appledore's front and all it's facilities and you can see the estuary from the property.
Lovely, neat garden and comfortable outdoor furniture.
We really don't think there's anything the owners, David and Laura, haven't thought about to make this holiday home welcoming and comfortable and they or their housekeeper are only a 'phone call away if you have an issue.
Can't recommend more highly.

My husband and I along with our 2 dog’s have recently returned from a week at this beautiful cottage and we’re already thinking of our return.
Not only is the location stunning , the presentation and standard of the cottage inside and out means its beyond just ‘ holiday accommodation’
Everything is of the best quality , from the bedding to the kitchen utensils . It’s clear the owners have considered everything to make staying at the cottage feel luxurious and comfortable and they have succeeded.
A secure dog friendly garden , a utility to provide extra space for their ‘ doggie bits’ large bedrooms with sleek well designed bathrooms .
I don’t provide reviews unless they are worthwhile , I really can’t identify a negative about the cottage or our experience - only to say - we should have booked for longer .
It’s was our first stay , but I know there will be many stays to follow .

We have just had an amazing week's holiday with our 4 year old Grandson.
Laura and David have created a wonderful holiday cottage both inside and out. The accommodation is perfect and there is absolutely everything you need.
Appledore is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area. The lovely sandy beaches, well presented play park and paddling pool at Bideford as well as the crabbing in the harbour were the highlights along with Hocking's ice cream.

We have just returned home after a wonderful week at Laura and David's cottage. The accommodation is perfect and extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need provided. The location of the cottage is perfect to explore Appledore and the surrounding area and the parking is a real bonus. We can't wait to go back for another holiday.

Laura and David have created such a wonderful cottage, in a fantastic location. The cottage is homely and finished to a superb standard. From the wonderful landscaped garden to simplicity of the warming fire in the lounge. It’s a perfect getaway for family's, couples and those with love to holiday with their dogs. That is why I return several times a year. Faultless accommodation and hosts!

Beautiful Cottage immaculately presented. We have stayed here a lot over the past few years and Laura is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful accommodation and Appledore is a gorgeous quaint fishing village with excellent eateries
